Another incredible week.  We’ve got teachers doing iPad creation projects creating videos, more projects on the laptops than can be counted, student response systems to check for understanding and assessments, and more GPS activities while the weather is ideal.  There are some great activities already in the making for the coming weeks.  Please let me know how I can help you.

As many of you may be aware, the CITS for the Blue track (Lamar, Lamar Junior, and Wessendorff) has left the district for her dream job.  We are excited for her great opportunity.  Until her replacement is hired, I will be assisting at Lamar High School.  Starting next week my schedule is changing.  I will be at Lamar High on Monday’s.  The rest of the week, my schedule stays the same with Foster on Tuesday, Briscoe on Wednesday, and Wertheimer on Thursday.

At a Glance:

Street View of a Desertwebsite

Google has given us a great view of many cities through Google Maps Street View feature.  Now they have given us the desert.  They hired a camel to walk through the desert and record some incredible images of the open desert.  Click the above link to get a great view of desert.  Use it to teach the students about the open desert.  Read more about this project here.
